Overview
Little Lodge Nursery embarked on a grand-scale mission: to transform a vast, newly acquired outdoor space into a tailored developmental journey. They needed a partner who could design distinct environments for every age group, from the sensory needs of infants to the high-energy adventures of pre-schoolers. We collaborated closely with the staff to create a progressive landscape where children don’t just play – they grow into new challenges as they move through the nursery. We created a “map of childhood” area, with different zones for physical and cognitive development for each age group. The result is a comprehensive outdoor campus that supports the nursery’s curriculum at every level, providing a safe, inspiring environment that evolves alongside the children.
