Project
Multi-Zone EYFS Transformation with Hobbit Pod and Natural Riverbed
Overview
At Weelsby Primary School, we were faced with a tired, uninspiring outdoor space that felt boxed in by a large brick wall. The school’s vision was to break away from these constraints and create a high-energy, sensory-rich haven for their youngest learners. We completely reimagined the footprint, replacing the “worn-out” feel with a dynamic landscape designed to promote free-flowing movement and adventurous exploration. The transformation was about more than just adding equipment; it was about changing the “feel” of the environment. By installing our bespoke Hobbit Pod and Robinia units against the previously imposing brick wall, we turned a barrier into a backdrop for adventure.

Why Schools Trust Precision Timber
The Weelsby story is one of seeing past boundaries. Where others saw a restrictive brick wall and a tired plot of land, we saw a hidden world of “Hobbit Pods” and natural riverbeds. Schools trust us because we don’t just “fill a space” – we unlock it. We take pride in the craftsmanship that turns a dull corner into a child’s favourite place to be, ensuring that every project we finish leaves a legacy of wonder and growth for years to come.
