Bespoke HDPE & Timber Trim Trail with Wetpour Surfacing
Overview
Gawthorpe Primary School wanted to transform their breaktimes into a high-energy opportunity for physical development. Their vision was a playground that didn’t just provide “something to do”, but offered a series of progressive challenges to build gross motor skills, problem-solving, and social cooperation. We designed a bespoke trim trail that pairs the natural beauty of timber with the extreme durability of HDPE, creating a long-lasting circuit where every student can find their own level of challenge.

Why Schools Trust Precision Timber
The Gawthorpe project is about the moment a child’s fingers finally reach that last handle on the traverse wall, or the first time they cross the rope bridge without holding a teacher’s hand. We build for those quiet victories of self-belief. Schools trust us because we know that a durable HDPE panel is more than just plastic – it’s the solid support for a child’s growing bravery. We don’t just manufacture trails; we manufacture the courage it takes for a student to say, “I can do this,” one steady step at a time.
