As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on an extraordinary year at Precision Timber, one filled with exciting projects, valuable collaborations, and remarkable growth. As a trusted playground supplier in the UK, we’ve worked alongside schools, nurseries, visitor attractions, and leading brands to create unique outdoor play spaces that inspire creativity, promote inclusivity, and foster community engagement. Bespoke Outdoor Playground Transfromations
This year, we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with schools, nurseries, communities, and attractions to create unique and tailored outdoor play spaces. Each project has been designed with the goal of fostering creativity, encouraging physical activity, and providing children with environments where they can explore, learn, and grow. From concept to completion, our team has been dedicated to bringing imaginative ideas to life, ensuring every play area meets the needs of its users while sparking joy and adventure.
Precision Timber teach woodworking lessons!
We worked with Worsborough Common Primary School, where our team members, Amy and Tyla, took over Year 6 design and technology lessons, guiding the children in building a bike shed for the school. The children had a fantastic time learning new skills, and it was an experience that we’ll always cherish. Read more about it here!
Collaboration with Forest Holidays
We partnered with Forest Holidays to enhance their beautiful natural settings with bespoke outdoor play equipment, including robinia chairs, a bug hotel, a forest firepit shelter, and a stargazing net. These installations allow visitors to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying innovative play and relaxation spaces.
Engaging at Trade Shows
This year, we attended GroundsFest and Nursery Management trade shows, where we connected with industry leaders and customers while exploring the latest trends in outdoor play equipment. These events have strengthened our role as a playground supplier in the UK and provided fresh inspiration for future designs.
Growing Our Team and Celebrating Milestones
Our team has grown, with new members bringing fresh perspectives and skills to the business. We also celebrated personal milestones, including Amy’s and Tyla’s 30th birthdays and Sharon’s 50th. Olivia’s adventure to Australia was another highlight, and we can’t wait to hear her stories when she returns!
Supporting the Community
Community impact has been a key focus this year. We donated a sensory wall to Autism Allotments, creating an interactive and inclusive space for children and visitors. Additionally, we stepped in to help King’s Oak complete a project, ensuring their prize was fulfilled with a bespoke solution.
Enhancing Our Workshop and Facilities
To support our growth, we upgraded our workshop with a new mezzanine floor, offices, and a boardroom, giving us the space to expand our capabilities and better serve our customers.
New Products and Innovations
We’ve expanded our product range, introducing exciting new outdoor play equipment now available on our website shop page. This reflects our commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of schools, nurseries, and visitor attractions.
Achieving Industry Certifications
This year, we earned BSEN 1176 playground standard certification with ROSPA, demonstrating our commitment to safety and quality. We also achieved ISO certifications 9001, 14001, and 45001, reinforcing our dedication to quality management, environmental sustainability, and occupational health and safety.

As we prepare for 2025, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. From collaborating with schools and nurseries to expanding our partnerships and product offerings, the future is bright.
